About
I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Film and Television Studies, University of East Anglia. My thesis covers an analysis of low budget exploitation filmmaking in Britain during the 1960s mediated through the career of the British director Robert Hartford-Davis.
I am a Sessional Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London and an Associate Lecturer at the Foundation of International Studies, London.
My research interests include the development of low budget independent post-war British cinema with and emphasis on the tension between critical and industrial discourses, the influence of American and Continental Europe on British cinema, and non mainstream British cinema circuits, exhibition and distribution.
