About
I am interested in the ecology and evolution of cooperation. One part of my work concerns cooperation between species, or mutualisms. Most recently, my colleagues and I are applying the economic theory of mechanism design to mutualism theory. The other part concerns cooperation between humans and nature, or conservation. Here, my colleagues and I are designing methods to manage wild meat (or bushmeat) hunting in Amazonia, and working out a protocol to measure biodiversity rapidly at large scales.
